Reversing Falls Bridges, St. John, New Brunswick

Location of a suspension bridge (190 m span) designed by Edward W. Serrell and in use from 1853 to 1915 when it was replaced by the present highway bridge; and a cantilever-type railway bridge (372 m in span) designed by Job Abbott and constructed by P.S. Archibald, in use from 1885 to 1921 when it was replaced by the existing railway bridge.
